Saed News: The body of the 24-year-old actress was found in her home on Sunday.
According to the incident report by Saed News, South Korean police announced that the body of Kim Sae-ron, a young and well-known actress, was discovered in her home in the Seongsu-dong area of Seoul. The 24-year-old actress was found around 5 PM on Sunday by one of her friends. According to police officials, no suspicious signs were found at the scene, and investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of death.
Kim Sae-ron, who started her career as a child actress, was considered one of South Korea’s most promising young stars. Born in Seoul in 2000, she gained fame with her role in the 2009 film A Brand New Life, which was featured at the Cannes Film Festival.
Some of her most notable performances include hit Korean films such as The Man from Nowhere (2010) and The Neighbors (2012), for which she received awards. She also starred in A Girl at My Door (2014) and TV dramas like Mirror of the Witch (2016).
In 2022, Kim Sae-ron withdrew from the public eye following a drunk driving incident and was fined 20 million won (approximately £11,000) in April 2023.
Her last appearance in the entertainment industry was in Netflix’s Bloodhounds (2023), where much of her role was edited out due to the DUI incident.
