According to SAEDNEWS: It is common for anyone to lose something or someone, and they may not know what to do in that situation. Apart from searching for the lost item or person, there are prayers and supplications that can be recited to help find them. In the book Makarim al-Akhlaq by Tabarsi, there is a prayer recommended for finding lost objects or people. This prayer is similar to the daily prayers, but it has different supplications.

How to Perform the Prayer for Lost Objects and People
First, perform two rak'ahs of prayer. In each rak'ah, after reciting Surah Al-Fatiha, recite Surah Yaseen. After finishing the prayer, raise your hands, engage in supplication with Allah, and say:
{اللَّهُمَّ رَادَّ الضَّالَّهِ وَ الْهَادِیَ مِنَ الضَّلَالَهِ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ احْفَظْ عَلَیَّ ضَالَّتِی وَ ارْدُدْهَا إِلَیَّ سَالِمَهً یَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِینَ فَإِنَّهَا مِنْ فَضْلِکَ وَ عَطَائِکَ یَا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ فِی الْأَرْضِ وَ یَا سَیَّارَهَ اللَّهِ فِی الْأَرْضِ رُدُّوا عَلَیَّ ضَالَّتِی فَإِنَّهَا مِنْ فَضْلِ اللَّهِ وَ عَطَائِه}
Recommended Prayer from Imam Ali (A.S.)
Imam Ali (A.S.) is reported to have said: "Anyone who has lost something should perform two rak'ahs of prayer, recite Surah Yaseen in each rak'ah after Surah Al-Fatiha, and after the prayer, say:
اللَّهُمَ یَا هَادِیَ [رَادَّ] الضَّالَّهِ رُدَّ عَلَیَّ ضَالَّتِی."
Recommended Prayer from Imam Baqir (A.S.)
Imam Baqir (A.S.) said that whenever you lose something or forget where you placed it, perform two rak'ahs of prayer and make supplication to your Lord, then recite this prayer:
{اللَّهُمَ رَادَّ الضَّالَّهِ هَادِیاً مِنَ الضَّلَالَهِ رُدَّ عَلَیَّ ضَالَّتِی}
Recommended Prayer from Misbah al-Kaf'ami
In Misbah al-Kaf'ami, a prayer is mentioned for finding lost objects. The method of performing this prayer is similar to other prayers. First, perform two rak'ahs of prayer, then recite this prayer while facing the stars of the sky:
{یَا عَالِمَ السِّرِّ وَ یَا عَالِمَ الْغُیُوبِ وَ السَّرَائِرِ الْغَیْبِ وَ السَّرَائِرِ یَا مُطَاعُ یَا عَزِیزُ یَا عَلِیمُ یَا اللَّهُ یَا اللَّهُ یَا اللَّهُ یَا هَازِمَ الْأَحْزَابِ لِمُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَیْهِ وَ آلِهِ یَا کَائِدَ فِرْعَوْنَ بِمُوسَى یَا مُنَجِّیَ عِیسَى مِنْ أَیْدِی الظَّلَمَهِ یَا مُخَلِّصَ قَوْمِ نُوحٍ مِنَ الْغَرَقِ یَا رَاحِمَ عَبْرَهِ یَعْقُوبَ یَا کَاشِفَ ضُرِّ أَیُّوبَ یَا مُنْجِیَ ذَا النُّونِ مِنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ الثَّلَاثِ یَا فَاعِلَ کُلِّ خَیْرٍ یَا هَادِیاً إِلَى کُلِّ خَیْرٍ یَا دَالَّا عَلَى کُلِّ خَیْرٍ یَا خَالِقَ الْخَیْرِ وَ یَا أَهْلَ کُلِّ خَیْرٍ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ فَزِعْتُ إِلَیْکَ بِمَا قَدْ عَلِمْتَهُ وَ أَنْتَ عَلَّامُ الْغُیُوبِ أَسْأَلُکَ أَنْ تُصَلِّیَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ}
Supplication for Finding Lost Objects and People
This great supplication, which is from Imam Mahdi (A.S.), is for someone who has lost something or has a great need and wants to fulfill it. It is said to have a miraculous story. If someone wants to achieve their goal, they should repeat this supplication.
{بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِیمِ – أَنْتَ اللَّهُ اَلَّذی لا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ مُبْدِئُ الْخَلْقِ وَ مُعِیدُهُمْ، وَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ مُدَبِّرُ الْأُمُورِ وَ بَاعِثُ مَنْ فِی الْقُبُورِ وَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ اَلَّذی لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ الْقَابِضُ الْبَاسِطُ، وَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ اَلَّذی لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ وَارِثُ الْأَرْضِ وَ مَنْ عَلَیْهَا، أَسْأَلُکَ بِاسْمِکَ الَّذِی إِذَا دُعِیتَ بِهِ أَجَبْتَ، وَ إِذَا سُئِلْتَ بِهِ أَعْطَیْتَ، وَ أَسْأَلُکَ بِحَقِّ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ أَهْلِ بَیْتِهِ وَ بِحَقِّهِمُ الَّذِی أَوْجَبْتَهُ عَلَى نَفْسِی أَنْ تُصَلِّیَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ أَنْ تَقْضِیَ لِی حَاجَتِی السَّاعَهَ السَّاعَهَ یَا سَیِّدَاهْ یَا مَوْلَاهْ یَا غِیَاثَاهْ، أَسْأَلُکَ بِکُلِّ اسْمٍ سَمَّیْتَهُ بِهِ نَفْسَکَ، وَ اسْتَأْثَرْتَ بِهِ فِی عِلْمِ الْغَیْبِ عِنْدَکَ أَنْ تُصَلِّیَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ أَنْ تُعَجِّلَ خَلَاصَنا مِنْ هَذِهِ اَلشِّدَّهِ یَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ وَ الْأَبْصَارِ یَا سَمِیعَ الدُّعَاءِ إِنَّکَ عَلى کُلِ شَیْءٍ قَدِیرٌ بِرَحْمتِکَ یَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِینَ}
Supplication by Ayatollah Bahjat
Ayatollah Bahjat has recommended a prayer for finding lost objects and suggested that one should frequently recite the following prayer:
{أَصْبَحْتُ فِی أَمَانِ اللَّهِ وَ أَمْسَیْتُ فِی جِوَارِ اللَّهِ}
In another place, he recommended this prayer for recovering lost items and alleviating forgetfulness:
{اللهم انّی اسئلک یا مُذَکِّرَ الخیرِ و فاعلَهُ و الآمِرَ بِهِ اَن تُصلّیَ علی محمدٍ و آل محمد و تُذَکِّرَنی ما اَنسانیه الشیطان}
Jabir al-Ansari's Supplication from Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)
In the book Makarim al-Akhlaq, Jabir ibn Abdullah al-Ansari narrated from the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who introduced a special prayer to Imam Ali (A.S.). He said, "Whenever a calamity afflicts you, or if you are fearful of an unjust ruler, or have lost something, perform a complete ablution, pray two rak'ahs, and then raise your hands towards the sky and say..."
