President Pezeshkian: Enemies Will Take the Dream of Iran’s Surrender to the Grave

According to SAEDNEWS, In a message issued ahead of the funeral ceremonies for the martyrs of the Iranian Navy’s Dena destroyer, the president invited the Iranian public to participate in the commemorations.

Pezeshkian said the Iranian nation would welcome home sailors who, according to the statement, were killed in what he described as an unjust attack while sailing far from the battlefield in international waters.

“The brave and patient people of Iran today and tomorrow welcome young sailors who were thousands of miles away from the imposed war and were calling for peace in the open seas,” he wrote.

He accused the attackers of violating international law and humanitarian principles, calling the strike a “cowardly and unjust act” that revealed what he described as the true nature of the perpetrators.

According to the president, 84 bodies of fallen sailors have returned to Iran for burial, while 20 others remain missing in the depths of the ocean.

Pezeshkian expressed condolences to the families of the victims and the Iranian people, urging citizens to honor the fallen during the funeral ceremonies.

“Our cunning enemies should know that in the shadow of the name of each of these noble martyrs, thousands more brave men will rise and they will take the dream of forcing the children of Iran to surrender to the grave,” he said.

The message concluded with a tribute to the fallen sailors and a call for national unity during the mourning period.
