SAEDNEWS: Pezeshkian in a meeting with the President of Belarus said: Certainly, with the understandings and cooperation that we can achieve together, all sanctions will be neutralized.
According to Saed News, quoting Fars, Masoud Pezeshkian, in a meeting with the President of Belarus, said: "I am pleased that this opportunity has been provided, because we had wanted to visit earlier as well, but due to our busy schedules, we came a little later to discuss with you the common issues mentioned, reach an understanding, and practically implement them.
He continued: "In many areas and in all international communities, our positions are completely shared, and we have common perspectives. Especially in agreements related to the Eurasia region, such as BRICS and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, these institutions provide frameworks through which we can have constructive and extensive interactions in all these fields.
The President emphasized: "From my point of view, these shared perspectives require that, in practice, in all fields including military, economic, industrial, cultural, social, and tourism, we implement our agreements in a fully operational manner."
Pezeshkian stated: "The unilateralism that has emerged in the world, and the actions taken by the United States and its allies, aim to impose their views and beliefs on other countries, and this is unacceptable for us and certainly for you.
He added: "The sanctions imposed on you, and the sanctions that have been extended against our country for nearly 40 years, aim to paralyze countries that refuse to follow their path. Certainly, with the understandings and cooperation that we can achieve together, all these sanctions will be neutralized."
Belarusian President: No unresolved issues exist between Iran and Belarus
Alexander Lukashenko also said in this meeting: "I have very good memories of my trips to Iran, and they have always been very good trips. During my visits to Iran, I was always a guest of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution; I kindly ask you to convey our best wishes to him on our behalf.
He continued: "There is no closed or unresolved issue between Iran and Belarus. We are open to discuss any matter, from supplying foodstuffs to cooperation in military and technical fields. I reiterate that there is no closed issue between the two countries."
