Martyrdom of Hezbollah Spokesperson Lebanon / "Mohammad Afif" – Who Was He?

According to SAEDNEWS, Lebanese media reported that Mohammad Afif, the media communications officer of Hezbollah Lebanon, was martyred in today's Israeli airstrike on the "Ras al-Naba" area in Beirut.

In recent weeks, with the intensification of Israeli military attacks on Lebanon, especially after the martyrdom of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, he almost daily held press conferences to answer questions from various media journalists.

It can be said that he was the only Hezbollah official who appeared freely and without restrictions in public programs and met with journalists. Since the assassination of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, all public programs for officials of this group were canceled.

The building that was targeted belonged to the Ba'ath Party in the center of Beirut.

After the attack, Israel's Army Radio broadcasted the news: "Mohammad Afif, the Hezbollah spokesperson, was the target of a killing operation in Beirut."

Hezbollah has not yet responded regarding the fate of Mohammad Afif. Lebanon's Ministry of Health also announced regarding this attack: "In the Israeli enemy's airstrike against the Ras al-Naba area in Beirut, one person was martyred, and three others were injured."

In his last press conference with journalists, he dismissed Israeli officials' statements about progress in southern Lebanon as inaccurate, and he said that Hezbollah’s weapons reserves were at an adequate level, and that Hezbollah was capable of managing the war for an extended period.
