Her mother, Tanuja, is an actress, and her father, Shomu Mukherjee, was a film director and producer who passed away in 2008 due to cardiac arrest. She has a younger sister named Tanishaa. Kajol is also the cousin of Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji. She is 160 cm tall, and her friends call her by the nickname Kads. Unfortunately, Kajol’s parents separated when she was very young, leading her to live with her paternal grandmother. From a young age, Kajol loved dancing and acting. At the age of 16, she dropped out of school to pursue her dream career in acting, achieving early success and fame.
