SAEDNEWS: Baqaei said: We have always stated that we are ready to take a set of measures to reassure regarding the peaceful nature of our nuclear program, provided that the unjust sanctions are lifted. This position is a continuation and consistency of the previous stances of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to Saed News, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in response to a question regarding the remarks of the Deputy Political Minister of Foreign Affairs about accepting some limitations in Iran’s nuclear program if sanctions are lifted, said: “This is not a new position and follows the same logic as the JCPOA. We have previously announced that in exchange for the lifting of unjust sanctions by the United States and European countries, we took a set of voluntary steps, such as limitations on enrichment levels or the use of different nuclear machines.
He continued: “Therefore, no new issue has been raised. We have always stated that we are ready to take a set of measures to reassure regarding the peaceful nature of our nuclear program, provided that the unjust sanctions are lifted. This position is a continuation and consistency of the previous stances of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
