SAEDNEWS: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian visited the office of Hamas in Tehran to extend condolences over the martyrdom of Yahya Sinwar, the late leader of the Resistance group.
According to SAEDNEWS, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian visited the Hamas office in Tehran to express his condolences over the martyrdom of Yahya Sinwar, the late leader of the Resistance movement.
During his visit on Tuesday morning, President Pezeshkian met with Khaled Qaddoumi, the Representative of Hamas in Tehran. They held discussions regarding Sinwar’s legacy and the ongoing situation in the region.
Hamas announced on Friday that their leader, Yahya Sinwar, was martyred in an Israeli attack in Rafah, Gaza. Before he became the political leader of Hamas, Sinwar led the group in Gaza for seven years. He was imprisoned by Israel for 22 years and was released in a prisoner swap in 2011.
This visit highlights Iran's solidarity with Hamas and reflects ongoing support for the Palestinian cause.
