Due to its unique natural environment, Samirum attracts many nature enthusiasts. The city borders Shahreza to the north, Borujen to the west, Abadeh to the east, and Yasuj to the south.
Situated at an altitude of around 2,500 meters above sea level, Samirum is considered the third-highest city in Iran. Its history dates back to about 700 years before Christ.
The city has a cold mountainous climate, with mild and dry summers and cold, snowy winters. Therefore, the best time to visit Samirum is spring and summer when the weather is pleasant.
