SAEDNEWS: A wildlife photographer captured a remarkable moment of a vervet monkey seemingly giving mouth-to-mouth resuscitation to another monkey.
According to Saednews, A 28-year-old photographer, William Steel, captured these remarkable images at the Gaborone Game Reserve in Botswana. He described seeing a female monkey lying motionless on the ground with both her arms and legs spread out. At first, he could not understand what was happening. When he picked up his camera, another monkey approached the female, placed its mouth over hers, and appeared to perform CPR-like resuscitation.
Note: While the behavior closely resembled human CPR, it is not confirmed that the monkey was actually performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The photographs simply captured behavior that appeared similar.
