Saed News: A mother bear and her two cubs in Yellowstone National Park in the United States were harassed by a drone, sparking widespread outrage among tourists in the area.
According to SAEDNEWS, a female bear and her two cubs were chased and disturbed by a drone that was illegally flown in the park.
Dan Johnson, who was filming the bear family, said he accidentally captured footage of the drone. The drone flew so close to the bears that they could have stood on their hind legs and potentially pulled it out of the sky.
He said he was unaware of the drone while filming and only realized what had happened after finishing and hearing a park ranger shouting about its presence.
The incident led to dozens of tourists gathering at the scene, many of whom reacted strongly against the harassment of the animals. Johnson said everyone was extremely angry, and if the drone operator had been found, the reaction could have been very severe.
He also emphasized that such actions should face heavy fines.
According to U.S. law, flying drones in national parks, including Yellowstone, is prohibited. Violators may face penalties of up to six months in prison and fines of up to $5,000.
The drone operator fled the scene before authorities arrived and has not been identified. However, the video shared by Johnson has been viewed tens of thousands of times on social media, with many users calling for the perpetrator to be identified and held accountable.
