Iran Highlights Nuclear Industry’s Export Opportunities at Shiraz Expo 2026

According to Saednews, The organization is showcasing its latest technologies at the Hafez Hall of the international trade fair, which opened on October 11 and runs through October 16, 2026, at the Fars Province International Exhibition Center.

Its exhibits include irradiation systems for agricultural pest control and food decontamination, industrial product enhancement technologies, cold plasma devices for wound treatment, diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals, nuclear density and level gauges, and technologies for the exploration and extraction of radioactive mineral resources.

Four companies affiliated with the organization are participating in the exhibition. One specializes in radiation-based agricultural pest control and is preparing to launch a new irradiation facility in Darab in the coming days.

Another company manufactures cold plasma devices for treating pressure ulcers and diabetic wounds. According to the organizers, 15 wound-care clinics have been established across the country using this technology. Representatives also reported interest from visitors from Russia, Afghanistan and Arab countries.

The organization is also presenting its radiopharmaceutical products, which it says are manufactured exclusively within the country. More than 260 irradiation centers use its radiopharmaceutical services.

Its nuclear measurement equipment, designed for industries such as oil, gas, refining, petrochemicals, cement and steel, has also attracted interest from Arab countries in the Persian Gulf region. Meanwhile, Afghan traders have expressed interest in airborne geophysical surveys for mineral exploration, potentially creating opportunities for bilateral cooperation.

Organizers said the exhibition has generated promising business opportunities. This year’s event covers 25,000 square meters and features the Art Expo for the first time, despite the challenging conditions facing the country.
