AEOI Chief: Iran’s Nuclear Technology Capabilities on Par with Advanced Nations

According to Saednews, Mohammad Eslami, head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), stated that opposition to Iran’s possession of peaceful nuclear technology cannot change the reality of its scientific achievements, emphasizing that the country stands on par with developed nations in nuclear science and technology.

Speaking at a ceremony marking National Standard Day in Tehran on Tuesday, Eslami highlighted that Iran’s intellectual resources, technological expertise, and the ingenuity of its younger generation had enabled the country to reach the highest levels of scientific and technological advancement.

“We are on a par with developed and advanced countries in nuclear science and technology, and this is a reality. Opposition to and refusal to acknowledge Iran’s possession of nuclear technology cannot change the reality of the country’s scientific capabilities,” he said.

“We have done nothing wrong,” Eslami asserted, adding that Iran’s adversaries would have no other justification for targeting the country if they abandoned their efforts to undermine its nuclear energy sector.

Referring to Iran’s industrial capabilities, Eslami noted that nuclear technology had become integrated into major industrial sectors, including oil refineries, petrochemical plants, and steel production facilities.

He also pointed out that industrial facilities across Iran had been targeted during what he described as unprovoked US-Israeli aggression, in an attempt to damage components essential to maintaining the stability of industrial processes.
