SAEDNEWS: British Anti-War Activists Protest Israeli Pavilion at London Travel Expo
According to Saednews, The protest was organized by the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, which accused the Israeli regime’s pavilion at the London tourism expo of promoting tourism in the illegally occupied Palestinian territories, in breach of commitments made by the British government.
In a letter to British Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband, the organization recalled his previous pledge to prohibit the promotion of illegal Israeli settlements in the UK, urging him to clarify whether he still intends to uphold that commitment.
The participation of entities associated with Israel’s settlement activities at the London tourism expo has sparked controversy in recent days, prompting criticism from human rights activists and several British Members of Parliament.
