Pezeshkian: Iran Says It Will Not Yield to Military Pressure

According to Saednews, Speaking at a meeting on Monday, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said the country must overcome challenges and crises created by its adversaries through public solidarity, cooperation, and national unity.

He said his administration was pursuing solutions through dialogue, adding that Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyid Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei had granted the government certain authorities to address the challenges.

Stressing that war serves no one's interests, Pezeshkian said Iran's adversaries would not succeed in forcing the country into submission through military aggression. He emphasized that Tehran would firmly reject hostile narratives, false claims, and excessive demands while strengthening public resilience and addressing citizens' concerns.

Highlighting cooperation among the heads of the three branches of government, officials, and the public, Pezeshkian said national solidarity had surprised Iran's adversaries by demonstrating the country's ability to withstand military attacks.

The president also warned that Iran's enemies were attempting to impose restrictions on border trade with neighboring countries and disrupt cross-border economic activities. He stressed, however, that Iran would counter such efforts and thwart these plans through greater cooperation and coordination.
