SAEDNEWS: Iran’s Parliament Speaker Discusses Economic Stability, War Developments, Diplomacy, and National Unity After Meeting with Supreme Leader
According to Saednews, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf said on Tuesday that the Leader was in good health and displayed confidence, energy, hopefulness and composure during a meeting. He noted that the Leader demonstrated a clear understanding of both major policy matters and specific details.
According to Qalibaf, discussions focused on evaluating key economic indicators, ensuring stable supply chains and domestic production, protecting citizens' purchasing power and livelihoods, and giving priority to supporting members of the Armed Forces and fighters serving on the front lines.
The meeting also addressed the implementation of the Seventh Development Plan, reconstruction projects, military matters, the latest developments in the war and the Resistance Front, diplomatic talks, economic warfare, and reports related to economic exclusion and a naval blockade.
Qalibaf said the Leader stressed the importance of maintaining public services, enhancing national resilience and preserving the highest possible level of cooperation among state officials, particularly the heads of the three branches of government. The discussions also covered relations with strategic allies, especially China, and the need for stronger coordination between the executive branch and Parliament.
Commenting on the meeting, Qalibaf acknowledged the deep sorrow caused by the martyrdom of Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, the late Leader of the Islamic Revolution. However, he said the new Leader's calm demeanor and positive outlook were particularly noteworthy. Qalibaf attributed these characteristics to unwavering faith in God and strong trust in the Iranian people.
