Baghaei expressed regret over the accusation against the Islamic Republic, saying such conduct runs counter to the principle of good-neighborly relations and undermines ongoing efforts to build trust among regional states and prevent further insecurity.
The Iranian spokesman also urged all regional parties to take into account the complexities created by what he described as continuing hostile actions by the United States and Israel against regional peace and security. He particularly pointed to the history of what he called multiple false-flag operations.
Baghaei called on regional actors to refrain from making unfounded accusations against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
