Araghchi: Foreign Ministry to Work Closely With SNSC

According to Saednews, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi congratulated Rezaei on his new position in a message issued Monday, highlighting his extensive experience in defense, security, and management as important qualifications for his new responsibilities.

Araghchi said Rezaei’s appointment as the country’s senior security official demonstrated confidence in his professional background and experience in handling complex strategic challenges.

He described this experience as a valuable asset, particularly given the current high-risk circumstances and rapidly changing regional and international environment.

Araghchi also emphasized the importance of close coordination between Iran’s diplomatic and security institutions.

He said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs would continue, as it has in the past, to operate within the broader policies of the Islamic establishment and in close coordination with the Supreme National Security Council. The ministry, he added, would use the country’s diplomatic capabilities to promote national interests, strengthen the authority of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and support the country’s long-term security.

The foreign minister concluded by wishing Rezaei success in his new role and in his efforts to serve the Iranian people and safeguard Iran’s national interests.
