SAEDNEWS: Donald Trump said Iran has agreed it will “never” have nuclear weapons. He denied reports of a $300 million payment, calling them “fake news,” and said the text of the deal will be released after Friday’s ceremony.
According to the political service of Saed News Agency, the President of the United States, in a post published on his personal social network (Truth Social) on Monday, made new claims regarding Tehran’s nuclear commitments.
Referring directly to restrictions allegedly accepted by Iran, he wrote:
“Iran has agreed that it will never have nuclear weapons.”
In another part of his message, Trump reacted to a recent report by the Axios website regarding Washington’s financial concessions to Tehran. Denying the claim, he pointed the finger at his domestic political rivals in the United States, stating:
“Reports that the United States is paying $300 million to Iran are completely fake; such news is being spread by Democrats.”
These remarks come as public and media pressure for transparency regarding the text of the agreement has increased. Previously, Trump, on the sidelines of a meeting with Emmanuel Macron, the President of France, had promised that the document would be declassified.
When asked by reporters about the exact timing of the release of the agreement details, he said:
“I think very soon. I personally want this text to be released because it is a very powerful document.”
“It is a very important document, and it will likely be made public sometime after Friday (the official signing ceremony).”
Donald Trump’s media campaign to justify the dimensions of this agreement comes as, earlier on Sunday (June 15, 2026), he officially announced the end of two wars against Iran and the completion of the agreement.
According to plans announced by Shehbaz Sharif, the Prime Minister of Pakistan (as one of the main mediators), the signing ceremony of this historic memorandum will take place on Friday, June 19, in Switzerland.
According to an official statement from the Secretariat of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, the most important immediate outcome of this agreement has been the immediate and permanent end of war and military operations on all fronts (including Lebanon), as well as the complete and immediate termination of the maritime blockade against Iran. Confirmation of these outcomes suggests that, regardless of White House media narratives, tangible changes are taking place in regional security equations.
