SAEDNEWS: Israeli Regime Prime Minister Cites Trump Claim to Defend Costly War on Iran Amid Isolation and Domestic Criticism
According to the policy service of SaedNews, and quoting Fars News Agency, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in warlike remarks against Iran, claimed that the Islamic Republic had been “planning the use of nuclear weapons and the destruction of Israel.”
He further alleged, without evidence, that “we eliminated the threat of the Iranian regime in cooperation with the United States, and by destroying this regime, we removed an imminent danger from ourselves.”
Netanyahu continued his fabricated narrative, claiming: “The Iranian regime had planned to carry out a Holocaust against us and intended to destroy us with nuclear bombs and ballistic missiles.”
In response to criticism of his government for initiating an unsuccessful war against Iran, he stated: “If decisive action had not been taken, places such as Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan would have been added to the list of Holocaust death camps like Auschwitz, Majdanek, and Treblinka. The nature of this battle is to ensure the continuity of the Israeli people.”
Political observers believe these remarks are part of a psychological warfare campaign and an Iranophobia project by the Israeli regime aimed at justifying acts of aggression against Iran and influencing public opinion to rationalize the initiation of a futile war.
These comments come as the Israeli regime in recent months has faced battlefield setbacks on various fronts and increasing international isolation, and is attempting to reduce internal crises by repeatedly leveling accusations against Iran.
Netanyahu’s statements also echo those of his American ally Donald Trump, who, in response to strong criticism over launching a costly war against Iran, has repeatedly claimed that Iran intended to “strike first,” and therefore the United States carried out a preemptive attack.
Trump, who has so far failed to convince public opinion regarding a war with Iran, has also claimed that “Tehran intended to take over the Middle East, and if they had nuclear weapons, they would have used them.”
