SAEDNEWS: US Secret Service Arrests Individual After Attempted Entry Into White House Grounds Thursday

Breaking: Security Incident at the White House Near the U.S. President

According to Saed News’ political service, U.S. Secret Service agents arrested an individual on Thursday after he attempted to breach the White House perimeter.

The Hill reported that the incident occurred at approximately 11:30 a.m. local time. The suspect reportedly jumped from a concrete block beside the Treasury Department building on the northeast side of the presidential complex in Washington, D.C.

According to the Secret Service, agents stationed near one of the gates confronted the individual, and after a brief struggle, he was taken into custody.

One officer was injured during the incident. Authorities have not yet released the identity of the suspect.

The confrontation comes after a similar security incident last month, when a person drove a van through barriers near the White House in the early hours of the morning.

In a separate case last October, another individual was arrested after crashing a vehicle into a security gate at the White House.
