SAEDNEWS: North Korea Tests Cluster Warhead for Tactical Ballistic Missile to Evaluate Combat Effectiveness and Explosive Power, KCNA Reports
According to Saednews, "We classify cluster warheads as special-purpose warheads, alongside four standard types. This year, we will enable military units to select and deploy all these warheads based on the operational objectives and characteristics of their intended targets," the bureau chief stated.
Following the test, it was confirmed that the Type 2 standard cluster warhead is capable of destroying targets across an area of 12 to 13 hectares.
