Saed News: The UK Defense Minister announced that, as part of support for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), British fighter jets have been deployed to Romania.
According to SAEDNEWS, citing RIA Novosti, UK Defense Minister John Healey stated in response to a drone incident in Romania: The Royal Air Force has deployed its fighter jets to Romania to assist NATO in its air patrol mission.
He also emphasized that the country, if necessary, will strengthen its military presence in Romania in cooperation with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
According to reports published by local media, a Russian-made drone that was conducting an attack on targets in Ukraine near the border entered Romanian airspace and struck a 10-story residential building in the city of Galați in eastern Romania.
