SAEDNEWS: 10-Month-Old Infant Revived by Doctors at Hazrat Valiasr (AJ) Educational and Treatment Center in Khorramshahr
According to a report from the Saed News social affairs service, a 10-month-old infant from Khorramshahr, who suffered from severe food aspiration (entry of food into the lungs) due to excessive feeding, was successfully brought back to life through the efforts of medical staff and emergency personnel.
The child was admitted to the emergency department in critical condition with weak vital signs following respiratory apnea during transfer. After the activation of Code 88, emergency medicine specialists, emergency department staff, and an anesthesiology specialist worked together to stabilize the infant and restore vital functions.
Following the resolution of the life-threatening symptoms, the child was transferred to the intensive care unit (ICU). After a short period of treatment and further recovery in the pediatric ward, the infant was discharged in good health.
