Iranian Artists Pledge Allegiance to Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei at Cultural Gathering in Tehran

SAEDNEWS: A group of Iranian artists and cultural figures gathered at the Art Bureau in Tehran for a ceremony titled “Mahfel‑e Amin va Aman” (“A Gathering of Trust and Security”) to pledge allegiance to Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, the newly appointed Leader of the Islamic Republic.

According to SAEDNEWS, The event took place on Sunday evening and brought together numerous figures from Iran’s artistic and cultural community, including poets, musicians, filmmakers, and cultural administrators.

Among those present were Hojatoleslam Mohammad Qomi, head of the Islamic Development Organization; Mohammad‑Mehdi Dadman, director of the Art Bureau; artists and writers such as Yousofali Mirshekak, Abdolhamid Ghadirian, Mohammad‑Ali Rajabi, Alireza Ghazveh, and Mohammad Golriz; as well as several officials from cultural institutions and organizations connected to Iran’s arts sector.

Opening of the Ceremony

The program began with the national anthem of the Islamic Republic of Iran followed by a recitation from the Holy Qur’an.

Traditional singer and musician Hesameddin Seraj then took the stage and performed a poetic piece dedicated to children who were killed in recent attacks, including victims from the southern city of Minab. The performance was accompanied by live music.

The event was hosted by presenter Majid Yaraghebafan, who opened the ceremony with emotional remarks, describing it as his first public appearance since the death of the previous leader. He expressed condolences and extended prayers for the success and long life of the new leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei.

Messages from Cultural Leaders

Speaking during the ceremony, Hojatoleslam Mohammad Qomi said the gathering was organized at the suggestion of revolutionary thinkers and artists so that members of Iran’s artistic community could formally pledge loyalty to the new leader.

He emphasized the historical relationship between the Islamic Revolution and the country’s artistic and literary circles, saying that many artists view their role as one of dedication and service to the ideals of the revolution.

According to Qomi, courage, sacrifice, and devotion are central values for artists aligned with the revolutionary movement. He also highlighted the late leader’s deep connection with literature, poetry, and cultural life, noting his support and engagement with artists over many years.

Poetry and Musical Performances

The ceremony also featured cultural performances. Veteran poet Yousofali Mirshekak recited elegiac and epic poems in memory of the late leader.

Renowned poet Seyed Ali Mousavi Garmaroudi, who was unable to attend the event in person, sent an audio recording of a poem honoring the late leader and declaring his allegiance to Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei.

During the program, organizers also unveiled a new music video titled “Hemayat‑e Eshgh” (Support of Love). The song, written by Seyed Sadegh Atashi and performed by Milad Harouni, was produced by the Artistic Department of Tehran’s Cultural and Artistic Organization and dedicated to the commemoration of the late leader and the pledge of allegiance to the third leader of the Islamic Republic.

Additional performances included a musical piece by Malek Seraj, delivered in a southern Iranian dialect, and a recitation by revolutionary poet Mohammad Rasouli, who presented a poem composed following the leader’s passing.

Collective Pledge

At the conclusion of the ceremony, several artists and cultural managers were invited to the stage to symbolically declare the collective pledge of allegiance on behalf of Iran’s artistic community.

Participants reaffirmed their commitment to the leadership of Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei and voiced support for continuing the cultural and ideological path of the Islamic Revolution.
