Images circulating on social media show the wedding of a 103-year-old Indonesian man to a 27-year-old woman, drawing widespread fascination online.
The man, named Buang Kat, who also lived through the 1945 war, married a woman named Endu Alang in the Siva region of South Sulawesi.
Indonesian media, which have extensively covered the story, reported that the bride’s dowry consists of just $343 and a gold ring. The media did not provide details on the nature of their relationship, despite the 76-year age difference.
