SAEDNEWS: The foreign minister stated tonight in response to Israel targeting the country’s infrastructure that Iran will impose a heavy cost for Israel’s actions.
According to the political desk of Saed News Agency, citing Fars News, Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi reacted on Friday evening (March 28) to the targeting of the country’s infrastructure. He stated that Israel had struck two of Iran’s largest steel factories, a power plant, and civilian nuclear sites, along with other infrastructure.
He added that Israel claims the operation was carried out in coordination with the United States, noting that the attack contradicts the extended deadline set by U.S. President Donald Trump for diplomacy.
The head of Iran’s diplomatic apparatus emphasized that Iran will impose a heavy cost for what he described as Israel’s crimes.
According to Fars News and a statement by the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, the Khondab Heavy Water Complex in Arak was targeted in two stages on Friday night by U.S. and Israeli forces.
The organization also announced that the Ardakan yellowcake production facility in Yazd Province was attacked the same night by what it described as American-Israeli aggression.
