SAEDNEWS: In a dramatic turn of events in India, after the groom fled the wedding ceremony, one of the guests stepped in, took the groom’s place, and married the bride.
According to the Saed News Society Desk, India’s Bangalore Mirror reported that two brothers were supposed to marry two girls chosen by their families on the same day. However, one of the brothers fled the scene, unwilling to go through with the arranged marriage.
The story didn’t end there. One of the guests stepped forward and offered to marry the 21-year-old bride, effectively putting an end to the chaos. In a matter of moments, the guest went from ordinary attendee to groom—and soon after, began his married life with the bride.
One social media user commented: “These Indians, even their weddings are as unbelievable as their movies.” Another added: “The stories we think of as ‘Indian’ are just memories for them.”
