Saednews: A set of new robots equipped with artificial intelligence, named "Minara," have been deployed at the Grand Mosque in Mecca (Masjid al-Haram) to provide immediate fatwas (religious verdicts) to pilgrims, worshippers, and Umrah performers.
According to the Science and Technology service of Saadnews, citing Hamshahri Online, Saudi media announced that Minara is designed as a large display screen with two stands, and its height is suitable for users. Pilgrims can ask questions and receive answers in 15 languages, either verbally or in writing. If the robot is unable to provide an answer, it will directly connect the user to a religious scholar, who will appear on the screen via video and provide an answer.
