Participants at the Camp David meeting included J.D. Vance, Trump’s deputy; Marco Rubio, Secretary of State; Pete Hegseth, U.S. Secretary of Defense; Suzy Walsh, White House Chief of Staff; Steve Witkoff, Trump’s special envoy; John Ratcliffe, CIA Director; Tulsi Gabbard, Director of National Intelligence; and other senior officials.

On Monday, Trump said that “generals and admirals” were present at these meetings but declined to elaborate on the discussions that took place.

According to Axios, Iranian officials have finalized their response to the U.S. nuclear proposal.

Iran’s Foreign Ministry announced that the sixth round of talks between Iran and the U.S. will be held on Sunday in Muscat, the capital of Oman.

The American website, citing a U.S. official and an Israeli official regarding developments in Gaza, claimed that efforts to soften Hamas’s stance on the U.S. proposal in this regard have made progress in recent days.

The U.S. official said: “We do not expect significant progress this week, but progress has been made, and we are closer to an agreement than we initially thought.”
