Saed News: Amid his disputes with Elon Musk, the U.S. President stated that he has recently been so busy dealing with issues related to China, Iran, and Russia that he has no time to think about Musk.
According to Saed News, quoting Iran Watch, U.S. President Donald Trump, amid recent tensions between himself and billionaire tech entrepreneur Elon Musk, who was once a close ally, stated that he is not thinking about Musk because there are more important matters to deal with.
Last week, the President said that Musk had “gone crazy” after stepping down from his position at the Department of Government Optimization.
RIA Novosti reported that Trump told reporters on Saturday:
“To be honest, I’ve been so busy working on China, Russia, and Iran that I’m not thinking about Elon Musk at all. I just wish him well.”
The U.S. President declined to comment on reports regarding Elon Musk’s alleged drug use and said he was unaware of any investigations into Musk’s companies.
In response to a question about whether Musk’s government contracts might be reduced, Trump said:
“Everything will be considered. It’s a lot of money, so we’ll look into it — only if it’s fair. Only if it’s fair for him and for the country.”
The President offered a positive assessment of the Department of Government Optimization, saying the department would continue its work.
Trump said:
“The work of the Department of Optimization is far from over. We’re just taking it over. Many of its staff are still there. It’s great. We’ve saved hundreds of billions of dollars.”
He also confirmed that he has no plans to speak with Elon Musk.
