Saed News: The president stated that any deprivation of nations from knowledge, technology, and scientific achievements is unacceptable. He added that the Islamic Republic of Iran is always ready to listen to reasonable arguments but will never accept bullying and coercion.
According to Saed News, quoting the official website of the Iranian Presidency, Masoud Pezeshkian on Saturday morning, during a meeting with Murat Nurtleu, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, congratulated him on the occasion of Eid al-Adha and expressed hope that this occasion would be a valuable opportunity to strengthen ties among Islamic countries and expand comprehensive interactions among them.
The president referred to the deep and unifying philosophy of Eid al-Adha and the great gathering of Muslims at the World Hajj Congress, calling this significant religious ritual a manifestation of the unity of the Islamic Ummah and a display of submission to the divine will and overcoming egos before the global audience. He emphasized that the fruit of this great assembly should be a shared resolve to strengthen friendship and brotherhood among Muslim nations and coordinated efforts to elevate and honor Islam and the Islamic Ummah.
Pezeshkian stressed the brotherly outlook of the Islamic Republic of Iran toward Muslim countries and stated: Based on religious teachings, we consider Muslim nations as our brothers, and accordingly, we are fully prepared to facilitate the development of cooperation, exchange experiences, and utilize common capacities with all Islamic countries, including Kazakhstan, to pave the way for progress, welfare, and sustainable development.
The president highlighted the key role of foreign ministers in facilitating and opening new horizons in relations between countries, addressing the Kazakh Foreign Minister: “You foreign ministers hold the key to diplomatic relations among governments; turn this key, unlock the doors, and provide the grounds for comprehensive development of relations.”
Referring to cultural, historical commonalities, and shared perspectives between the two countries, Pezeshkian noted: “We are ready to expand our relations with Kazakhstan in all fields. The future of bilateral relations depends on a shared determination and will to build a bright future based on peace, security, and welfare for the region and the world.”
In another part of his remarks, the president referred to indirect negotiations between Iran and the United States and added: “Excuses about Iran’s peaceful nuclear program are being raised while we have repeatedly declared clearly and demonstrated in practice that we have never sought nor intend to produce nuclear weapons or weapons of mass destruction.”
Pezeshkian emphasized that the nuclear activities of the Islamic Republic of Iran are entirely transparent, and the International Atomic Energy Agency has repeatedly confirmed this. He stated: “As we are prepared for inspections, we consider any deprivation of nations from knowledge, technology, and scientific achievements unacceptable because depriving nations of access to vital technologies in health, agriculture, and scientific innovations is tantamount to depriving humans of divine blessings and is unacceptable.”
The president stressed: “We bow before God so that we do not bow before anyone but Him, and we do not accept others deciding the future and fate of our nation. The Islamic Republic of Iran is always ready to listen to logical arguments but will never accept bullying and coercion.”
Pezeshkian also emphasized the vast capacities of the Islamic world for building a bright future, saying: “Muslim nations, by sharing their capacities, can create a future based on development, progress, and prosperity for their societies.”
In this meeting, Murat Nurtleu, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan, expressed his pleasure at the opportunity to meet with Pezeshkian and congratulated the president, government, and people of Iran on Eid al-Adha. He announced his country’s serious resolve to strengthen relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran in political, economic, and regional dimensions and expressed hope that with joint cooperation, bilateral relations would enter a new phase of growth and flourishing.
Murat Nurtleu also delivered a written message from the President of Kazakhstan to Pezeshkian and stated: “We believe and hope that this message marks the beginning of a new chapter in relations between the two countries and paves the way for developing bilateral cooperation in various fields.”
The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan, expressing respect for the principled and logical stance of the Islamic Republic of Iran on peaceful nuclear activities, said: “We recognize Iran as a country with an ancient culture and civilization, emphasize your legitimate right to peaceful use of nuclear technology, and are confident that your government’s efforts toward reforms in various areas will undoubtedly lead to the development, welfare, and progress of the great nation of Iran.”
