IRGC Naval Drill Showcases Long-Range Weaponry, Commander Says

Brigadier General Kiomars Heidari, speaking on the sidelines of a major IRGC Navy exercise, said the long-range, precision-guided, and smart systems showcased in the drill were entirely developed in-house by the Defense Ministry and the IRGC Navy.

Commending the high morale of the naval forces during the offensive, mission-focused exercise, Heidari highlighted that cohesion, strong leadership, and meticulous planning ensured the operation was executed with top-tier quality across the waters of the Sea of Oman and the Persian Gulf.

He added that some of the innovative tactics and techniques employed during the drill would remain classified for security reasons, “so that adversaries must pay a price to obtain them.”
