SAEDNEWS: Restoration and Renovation of Qeysar Aminpour’s Tomb Prioritized by Officials
According to Saed News’ Community Service, at the beginning of the meeting, Mahmoud Shalouyi, Advisor to the Minister of Culture and Head of the Cultural Heritage and Distinguished Figures Association, announced that the country’s Planning and Budget Organization has allocated funds for the restoration and renovation of Iran’s cultural monuments, including the tomb of Qeysar Aminpour in Gotvand. He said: “Considering the status and significance of this late poet in Iran’s literary sphere, and in line with the Supreme Leader’s emphasis on honoring this prominent figure in Persian language and literature, the restoration and improvement of Qeysar Aminpour’s tomb has been placed on the agenda of the Cultural Heritage and Distinguished Figures Association.”
Following this, Abbas Abbasizadeh, Acting Governor of Gotvand County, provided a report on the technical issues affecting the tomb and the upcoming steps. He added: “We hope that, with the support of the Cultural Heritage Association, after the restoration of Aminpour’s tomb and in cooperation with relevant organizations, national and provincial budgets will be allocated to this national project. A cultural center and a large cultural complex will also be established next to the tomb of this renowned poet and put into operation.”
In another part of the meeting, Kaveh Khorabeh, Deputy for Research and Scientific Affairs of the Association, emphasized: “It is essential that development be culture-centered, giving priority to cultural initiatives over other activities. Accordingly, cultural activities should also take precedence in the development of the areas surrounding Aminpour’s tomb.”
He added: “The Association’s Scientific and Research Council, including a number of prominent Iranian architecture professors, will supervise the technical and execution process of restoring Qeysar Aminpour’s tomb.”
Seyed Mohammad Sadat Ebrahimi, member of parliament representing Shushtar and Gotvand, praised the efforts of Khuzestan’s cultural and urban institutions and the Cultural Heritage Association in restoring monuments associated with Iran’s distinguished figures. He noted: “The Supreme Leader has bestowed the title ‘Caesar of the Revolution’s Poetry’ on the late Aminpour, highlighting his exceptional importance in Persian poetry and literature.”

He emphasized: “My colleagues and I in parliament will spare no effort to accelerate national projects related to the country’s cultural figures, particularly the restoration and development of Qeysar Aminpour’s tomb in Gotvand.”
Majid Monadi, Director-General of Culture and Islamic Guidance in Khuzestan Province, added: “I hope that with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance and other responsible institutions, timely allocation of provincial and national budgets, and certain existing social responsibility funds, we can advance key cultural projects—including the restoration and development of Qeysar Aminpour’s tomb—and witness the growth and flourishing of cultural activities in Khuzestan, especially in Aminpour’s hometown of Gotvand.”
Ziba Eshraghi, the poet’s wife, also expressed her appreciation for the Association’s head and Khuzestan officials for their efforts in restoring and improving the area surrounding the tomb. She emphasized: “The main request of Aminpour’s family to the Association and provincial officials is that all activities be carried out with precise expertise and based on scientific data, so that every initiative is not only culturally impactful but also sustainable.”
