SAEDNEWS: The second International Exhibition of Industry, Technology, Trade, Tourism, Culture, Art and Investment Opportunities, known as “Kish Expo 1404,” opened on Tuesday evening at the Kish International Exhibition Center.
At the opening ceremony of Kish Expo 1404, the event’s executive secretary highlighted that this year’s expo has been organized with representatives from 40 countries, dozens of Iranian companies, and 300 domestic and international investors, traders, and officials active in global trade and investment.
Mohammadreza Ghaderi noted, “A total of 110 pavilions have been allocated to domestic companies and participating countries, providing a platform to explore economic capacities and identify opportunities to expand international trade and business.”
He described investment as “the master key to the country’s economic prosperity,” emphasizing that attracting capital to boost production and exports—leveraging the capacities of both Iran and participating countries—is a central goal of this year’s expo.
The exhibition spans four main sectors and 12 subcategories, covering energy, industry, and new technologies—including oil, gas, petrochemicals, renewable energy, mining, transportation, advanced technologies, and urban infrastructure; the digital economy and financial services; agriculture, health, and food industries; and tourism, culture, and lifestyle, including handicrafts, automobiles, and related equipment.
