SAEDNEWS: Envoy: Elites Should Boost Iran-Russia Ties
He described the signing of the Comprehensive Strategic Treaty between Iran and Russia as a reflection of mutual trust between the leaders of the two countries and a demonstration of their commitment to systematically deepen and expand relations across various sectors.
The remarks were made at the opening ceremony of the second scientific conference between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation, held at the State University for the Humanities in Moscow, with the presence of Russian President Putin’s scientific advisor and the deputy ministers of science from both countries.
Highlighting that a significant portion of the treaty focuses on scientific, technical, academic, and cultural cooperation, Jalali emphasized that strengthening communication and collaboration between the two countries’ elites in these fields forms the foundation for further growth and prosperity in bilateral relations.
In another part of his speech, Iran’s ambassador to Russia noted that people today are living in complex times, as the international order undergoes transition and instability, and powerful nations seek to create mechanisms that shape the future according to their own interests.
