SAEDNEWS: A senior intelligence officer of the Israeli regime has resigned due to the failure of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood
According to Saed News, citing Mehr News Agency, an Israeli media outlet reported early Sunday that the first intelligence officer of the Gaza Division has resigned following Israel’s failure in the October 7 attack (Operation Al-Aqsa Flood).
This resignation follows the earlier departures of Brigadier General Haim Cohen, commander of the Gaza Division’s northern brigade, and Colonel Avi Rosenweld, another intelligence officer who resigned last summer due to the same operational failure.
The resignation of these officers highlights the mounting internal pressure on Israel’s security and military forces after the October 7 attack, which has sparked widespread criticism of the regime’s security performance.
