SAEDNEWS: Three Iranian law enforcement officers and one civilian were martyred during an armed confrontation at a security checkpoint in Fahraj County, southeastern Iran, local authorities announced.
According to the Public Relations Office of the Quds Headquarters of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Ground Force, a confrontation occurred early Monday when armed individuals clashed with law enforcement at an inspection checkpoint at the entrance of Fahraj County in Kerman Province.
The incident, which took place along the Zahedan-Fahraj road, resulted in the deaths of three law enforcement personnel and one civilian.
Authorities say the case is currently under investigation by security and law enforcement agencies.
