SAEDNEWS: Local Syrian media have reported explosions in Mezzeh District in the capital Damascus on Tuesday.
On Tuesday night, three explosions were heard in the Al-Mezzeh District of Damascus, though the cause remains unknown.
Local sources reported that several mortar shells of unidentified origin struck the area surrounding Al-Mezzeh Airport, located in the suburbs of the Syrian capital.
The Syrian news channel Al-Ikhbariya confirmed that three mortar shells fired by unknown individuals hit the vicinity of Al-Mezzeh Military Airport, but no casualties were reported.
Syrian media indicated that investigations are ongoing to determine the source and cause of the explosions.
