Sa’dabad Palace is one of the most beautiful and scenic attractions in Tehran, offering a delightful and serene environment. Covering approximately 300 hectares, the complex includes palaces, mansions, gardens, qanats, and stunning greenhouses, all designed by top Iranian and international architects.
The Sa’dabad complex is so vast and open that you will never tire of strolling through its garden-lined alleys. Visiting Sa’dabad Palace in autumn offers some of the most breathtaking views you can experience. About 110 hectares of the complex are dedicated to its palaces and mansions. The buildings in Sa’dabad Palace showcase a fusion of traditional Iranian architecture with European influences, enhancing both its grandeur and appeal.
One of the most notable buildings in the complex is the White Palace, designed by engineers Boris Rossi and Khorsandi. In front of this building stands the boots of Reza Shah, which have become a symbol of the palace. Originally, the statue was complete and located in the city of Dezful; however, after the revolution, it was damaged by locals, and the remaining pieces were moved to Sa’dabad Palace.

Sa’dabad Palace is located in northern Tehran, in the Shemiranat district. It sits in one of Tehran’s scenic highlands, bordered to the east by Golab Darreh, to the west by Velenjak, to the south by Tajrish, and to the north by the Alborz mountain range. The complex is situated on the slopes of Tochal Mountain, with elevations ranging from 1,650 to 1,800 meters above sea level.
