According to SAEDNEWS, Ryabkov made the remarks during a meeting with Kazem Jalali, the Iranian Ambassador to Russia, on Monday.

Highlighting the Russian Foreign Ministry's official stance, Ryabkov rejected any form of interference in Iran's internal affairs.

During the meeting, Ambassador Jalali detailed the terrorist and violent acts of January 2026 (Dey 1404) and the exploitation of peaceful and guild-related gatherings.

He stated that these events were a continuation of hostile actions against the Iranian nation during the '12-day war,' which was thwarted by the million-strong turnout of the people on January 12.

The two officials also exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments, as well as nuclear issues.

Furthermore, both sides emphasized the continuation of consultations at various levels to counter unilateralism and strengthen multilateral processes.
