SAEDNEWS: The deputy commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps warned that Iran is fully prepared to deliver a severe and regret-inducing response to any hostile move by its enemies, saying the country is now more powerful and better prepared than before.
According to SAEDNEWS, Addressing a cultural event in Iran’s northwestern city of Oroumiyeh on Saturday, Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi said Iran is ready to respond in a regret-inducing manner to any adventurism by the enemies.
He stressed that the Islamic Republic’s defensive and deterrent capabilities have grown stronger since the 12-day war imposed in June 2025.
The general said the enemies had carried out a complex and comprehensive plan and waged a multifaceted war, believing they could defeat Iran through cognitive warfare and combined operations. However, he noted that the outcome was the opposite, as strong Iran emerged from the 12-day war even more powerful than before, while Iranian fighters in the Army and the IRGC became more capable and resolute.
He added that Iran is now more prepared than it was during the 12-day war and stands ready to give a regret-inducing response to any hostile adventure by its adversaries.
The enemies suffered a defeat the likes of which they had never previously experienced, the IRGC deputy chief stated.
General Vahidi emphasized that by relying on the great Iranian nation and under the wise leadership of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, the day will come when the oppressive United States and the usurping Zionist regime will be brought down, adding that this day is not far off.
