SAEDNEWS: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar has emphasized his country’s commitment to expanding comprehensive cooperation with Iran, particularly in the economic sector.
According to a statement released Wednesday by Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson, several senior Pakistani officials convened a special meeting to discuss relations with Iran.
The Islamabad meeting, chaired by Senator Ishaq Dar, included the minister of petroleum, the prime minister’s special assistant, and senior officials from the interior and foreign affairs ministries, as well as the Federal Board of Revenue.
Participants reviewed existing bilateral cooperation in various fields and explored new ways to enhance economic and trade ties with Iran.
Dar emphasized Pakistan’s strong commitment to expanding engagement with Iran across multiple sectors, particularly in priority areas.
