Nasrallah weakens Israel's deterrent power: Zionist analyst

According to SAEDNEWS, Recent statements from Jacques Neriah, a researcher at the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs, have drawn attention to the ways in which Hezbollah is demonstrating its military capabilities. According to Zionist media, Neriah noted, "Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah shows the power of his forces through tunnels and underground areas." This strategic approach, he argues, undermines Israel's deterrent power.

On Tuesday morning, Hezbollah confirmed its latest military actions targeting Israeli military bases in the northern occupied territories. The group reported that its combatants launched missile and drone attacks on Zar'it and Jal Al-Allam military bases, as reported by Palestinian media outlets. The declaration emphasized that Hezbollah's fighters directly targeted Zar'it barracks and the assembly points of Israeli soldiers with rockets and artillery shells, resulting in casualties among the Israeli forces.

Hezbollah also claimed that its combatants successfully targeted surveillance equipment at the Jal Al-Allam base using a suicide drone, inflicting significant damage. This escalation marks a continuation of Hezbollah's sustained military engagement with Israeli positions, which has been ongoing since early October of the previous year. The Lebanese Resistance movement has heightened its attacks in retaliation for ongoing Israeli offensives against both Gaza and southern Lebanon.

The renewed hostilities began on October 7 when Israel launched a brutal military operation in response to an unprecedented action carried out by Hamas against the Israeli military. Following this escalation, Israel imposed a complete siege on the densely populated Gaza Strip, cutting off essential resources such as fuel, electricity, food, and water to the more than two million Palestinians living there.

As the situation intensifies, Hezbollah's actions serve to highlight the ongoing complexity of the conflict and the deepening impacts of a humanitarian crisis in the region. The forces at play in this volatile landscape continue to shape the security dynamics, with both local and international ramifications.
