SAEDNEWS: In response to recent Israeli attacks on Iranian territory, Major General Hossein Salami, the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), issued a stern warning. He stated that the consequences of Israel's actions will be "unimaginable" for those who occupy its territory.
According to SAEDNEWS, Salami conveyed these sentiments in a letter to Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, the Chief Commander of the Iranian Army.
In his message, he expressed his condolences over the deaths of four Iranian servicemen who lost their lives due to the recent Israeli aggression. “I offer my condolences to you, the courageous army commanders and staff as well as the honorable families of the martyrs,” he stated.
He criticized Israel's actions, calling them illegitimate and illegal, and noted that the attempts were thwarted by Iran's well-prepared air defense systems. Salami emphasized that Israel's failure reflects a significant miscalculation on their part.
Iran's Air Defense Base confirmed on Saturday that the country's air defenses successfully countered the Israeli attack. They reported that while there was some limited damage to a few sites, they are currently investigating the extent of the damages.
The Iranian Army has confirmed that four of its servicemen were martyred in these attacks, underlining the serious nature of the situation.
