According to the Saed News sports service, Ali Daei, born on March 21, 1969, in Ardabil, is a former football player, coach, entrepreneur, and businessman. He is the founder and CEO of Daei Sportswear Company. Daei is considered the top scorer for the national team and one of the best strikers in the history of the AFC Asian Cup. During his professional football career, he scored 109 goals in 149 international matches, setting the record for the most goals scored in men's international football.
In 1987, he was accepted into the Civil Engineering program at Sharif University of Technology, but he failed to pass the entrance selection due to his football commitments. However, he later graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, a Master's degree in Physical Education from Azad University, and was a doctoral student in Sports Sociology at the Science and Research Branch. He has a daughter named Deniz. He also married Mona Farrokh Azari on January 21, 2005, and their second daughter, Nora, was born in 2009.
