SAEDNEWS: The beautiful lagoon of Qadikola is an important wetland in Mazandaran province, northern Iran.
Nestled south of Qadikola-Bozorg, in the heart of Alidari Rural District, Qadikola Lagoon lies at the edge of a forest where farmland and citrus groves give way to wild greenery.
The lagoon is dotted with tall, sturdy trees whose roots and lower trunks stand submerged in the calm waters, creating a serene and almost mystical scene. Stretching 200 meters in length and about 150 meters wide, it offers a compact yet captivating natural escape.
Visitors can reach this tranquil wetland via a scenic three-kilometer paved road leading straight to the village center. For the more adventurous, five dirt tracks connect the surrounding hills to Qadikola, offering an alternative route into this secluded paradise.
