According to the Tourism Service of Saed News, Pir Mohammad Mountain, located northeast of Shahin Dezh County, is visible from nearly every part of the city. From this mountain, the Qara Qiyeh (Qahreh Qayah) and Zinalu (Zineh Li) valleys branch out, both known for their beautiful natural scenery. The mountain holds both spiritual and recreational significance, especially in spring, when locals gather in the area to perform sacrificial rituals.


Samaghan Rock Architecture

Located 15 kilometers west of Shahin Dezh, Samaghan features 17 rooms carved into the mountainside, with an impressive terrace offering remarkable views. This site, adjacent to a village of the same name, dates back to the late 2nd millennium BCE and remains one of the region’s most notable historical attractions.


Joshatu Natural-Historical Cave

Situated 20 kilometers east of Shahin Dezh near the village of Joshatu, this natural-historical cave merits recognition and preservation. Beyond its extraordinary panoramic views, the site includes a fortress-like wall with semi-circular towers dating to the 1st millennium BCE. The wall rises over 3 meters high and stretches roughly 50 meters, reflecting its defensive purpose.


Ozan Waterfall

Ozan Waterfall lies in West Azerbaijan Province at coordinates N36°54′26″ E46°39′10″, near the village of Ozan. It is located 30 kilometers east of Shahin Dezh, with a height of approximately 15 meters and an elevation of 1,890 meters above sea level. Nestled in a lush valley east of the lower Ozan village and 2.5 kilometers from the village center, the area enjoys a moderate mountainous climate. Surrounded by mountains, it experiences snowy winters and relatively warm summers, with all four seasons distinctly visible in its landscape.


Joshatu Mountain Wall

This wall, on the eastern slope of Joshatu Mountain and 13 kilometers from Shahin Dezh, is over 3,000 years old. Constructed by stacking stones atop the mountain, it is a testament to ancient defensive architecture.


Bibi Kand Rock Architecture

Located approximately 18 kilometers southwest of Shahin Dezh city center, this ancient cave’s exact construction date is unknown, though locals estimate it to be 3,000–3,500 years old. Carved into the mountain, it served as a refuge against invasions and a shelter for residents or local rulers. Dating to the 1st millennium BCE, the site was registered as a national heritage site (No. 3324) in 2000. It features 13 carved rooms, offering visitors stunning views.


Aqrablu Rock Carvings

Situated in the village of Aqrablu, 5 kilometers west of Shahin Dezh, along the permanent Zarrineh River, this unique site features a small rocky elevation about 500 meters north of the village. The smooth, flat eastern face bears carvings from the human hunting era, depicting several wild goats and other symbolic signs, showcasing remarkable artistic and historical value.


Qapan Historical Bath

Qapan Historical Bath dates back to the late Qajar period and remained operational until the 1990s, after which it fell into disuse. Located on Imam (Rah) Street in Shahin Dezh, south of Hazrat Rasool Mosque, the bath is registered as a national heritage site.
