SAEDNEWS: You can make delicious, restaurant-style pasta in a rice cooker by following this simple method.
According to Saednews, Molded Rice Cooker Pasta with Crispy Potato Crust:
500 g pasta (1 package)
300 g ground meat
2 potatoes
5 mushrooms
1 bell pepper
1 onion
3 tablespoons tomato paste
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
1 teaspoon dried thyme, cinnamon, and ginger powder
Salt, black pepper, and turmeric, to taste
Vegetable oil, as needed

Finely slice the onion, chop the bell pepper, and slice the mushrooms.
Heat a suitable frying pan over medium heat and add enough vegetable oil. Add the chopped onion and sauté until softened and golden. Season with salt and turmeric.
Add the ground meat and stir until its color changes. Add the bell pepper and sliced mushrooms, followed by the lemon juice. Season with salt, black pepper, turmeric, dried thyme, cinnamon, and ginger powder.
Stir well to coat all the ingredients with the seasonings. Add the tomato paste and mix thoroughly. If the mixture looks too dry, add a little more oil. The mixture should contain approximately two tablespoons of visible oil at the bottom of the pan.
Fill a large pot with water, add salt, and bring it to a boil. Break the pasta into three sections and add it to the boiling water.
Stir gently to prevent the pasta from sticking together. Add one teaspoon of oil to the water and cook until the outside of the pasta is soft while the center remains slightly firm. Follow the cooking time indicated on the package as a guide.
Drain the pasta in a colander and rinse it with cold water to prevent sticking. Allow the excess water to drain.
Meanwhile, wash and peel the potatoes, rinse them again, and cut them into slices.

Take approximately two tablespoons of oil from the pan containing the meat sauce and pour it into the bottom of the rice cooker pot. Grease the entire bottom evenly and sprinkle the sesame seeds over the oil.
Arrange the potato slices in a single layer across the bottom of the pot to create a crispy potato crust.
Once the pasta has drained thoroughly, transfer it to a separate pot. Add the prepared meat sauce and gently mix until the pasta is evenly coated without breaking or crushing it.
Continue mixing until the pasta takes on the reddish color of the tomato-based meat sauce.
Transfer the pasta mixture into the rice cooker, spreading it evenly over the potato slices.

Set the rice cooker to a temperature or cooking setting that allows the potato base to become golden and crispy.
Place a clean kitchen towel or suitable steam-absorbing cover under the lid, if appropriate for your rice cooker, and close the lid securely. Allow the pasta to cook until the rice cooker switches off automatically.
Once cooking is complete, carefully invert the rice cooker pot onto a suitable serving plate so the molded pasta comes out with the golden potato crust on top.
Serve hot and enjoy!
Tip: Check your rice cooker's manual before placing a towel under the lid, as this may be unsuitable for some models. Always use the manufacturer's recommended cooking method.
