SAEDNEWS: In the current situation, when going to restaurants and enjoying colorful and delicious fast food has become almost a dream, it is better to take matters into your own hands and prepare your favorite fast foods at home.
According to Saednews, Hot chips is a delicious fast-food appetizer made with a variety of flavors. It has a high calorie content, so it can be served not only as an appetizer but also as a full meal. For a quick version, you can skip making chips from scratch and use ready-made chips. However, it is recommended to prepare homemade chips for a better-quality and tastier result. Follow the steps below to learn how to make it.
Large chips: 1 pack
Mozzarella cheese: 200 g
Corn: 100 g
Ham: 100 g
Bell pepper: 1 small
Mushrooms: 100 g
French sauce: 4 tablespoons
Oregano, salt, black pepper, nutmeg: as needed
Gouda cheese: 100 g
Milk: 1/2 cup
First, slice the mushrooms and sauté them in a dry hot pan without oil until excess moisture is released. Cut the ham into small cubes or strips as desired. Chop the bell pepper into very small pieces because it cooks quickly. Mix the spices and set them aside.
Choose a suitable oven-safe dish and pour in a layer of chips, pressing them down slightly to flatten the surface. Add French sauce over the chips, then layer ham, corn, mushrooms, and bell peppers in order. Add a thick layer of cheese and repeat the layering process until all ingredients are used. Place the dish in the oven until the cheese becomes golden and melted. Add a bit of seasoning mix over each cheese layer.
Heat the milk in a small pot, then add cheese and stir until a thick creamy sauce forms. Pour this sauce over the hot chips while it is still warm.

Garnish with chopped parsley for better presentation.
You can replace ham with shredded cooked chicken.
Colorful bell peppers make the dish more visually appealing.
Use a proper oven or microwave-safe dish.
Slice mushrooms very thinly to prevent them from making the chips soggy.
You can adjust ingredients based on preference.
For baking, layer chips and ingredients, add cheese, and heat until melted; then repeat layers and finish with a final cheese topping before baking again.
